The Daring Duo

Founders Rhea Topacio and Dennis Rogacion’s journey reflects synergy and resilience:

  • Founded Pamana World BV to introduce European consumers to authentic Filipino flavors via iconic brands like Luneta Ice Cream™, Ubeness™, Manong Sorbetero™, Guapito™ Premium Beer, and most recently, Terifico™ syrups. (lunetaicecream.com)

  • Started with humble experiments—ice creams made in their home kitchen—and expanded to serve over 30 European countries, earning national awards such as Food Truck of the Year and Excellence in Product & Service in the Netherlands (Raw Magazine).

  • Rhea and Dennis emphasize creativity, strategic planning, and a shared passion: “ideas alone are not enough” and “there are no magical shortcuts to success”—messages they continually reinforce through their entrepreneurial approach (Daring Duo)

Together, with the support of another investor, Rizzo Topacio, they embody the spirit of modern Filipino-European entrepreneurship—combining cultural pride with innovation, vision with operational discipline, and love with business excellence.

Our Journey

2015

The company began modestly, focusing on Philippine-inspired ice creams through Luneta Ice Cream™ in 2015 – the first Filipino ice cream brand made in Europe. Its birth marked the beginning of Filipino-owned brands’ presence in the continent.

Pamana World BV aims to promote Filipino cuisine on a global scale while supporting the success of fellow Filipino entrepreneurs.

2016

Since 2016, Luneta Ice Cream has been prominently featured across various Filipino television channels and major broadsheets, inspiring millions of Filipinos to pursue their dreams and take pride in their cultural heritage. By celebrating traditional flavors and bringing Filipino identity to the forefront, Luneta Ice Cream has become a symbol of cultural pride and entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging more Filipinos to cherish and showcase the richness of their heritage.

2017-2019

To elevate brand visibility, Luneta Ice Cream took an active role in Filipino cultural events across the Netherlands and Belgium, establishing a strong connection with local communities and cultural enthusiasts. As part of this initiative, they introduced a popular ice cream food truck, which quickly became a crowd favorite at every event, drawing long lines and enthusiastic customers eager to enjoy authentic Filipino flavors on the spot.

2020

Luneta Ice Cream won several recognitions from the Philippine Embassies in Europe, as well as from the Dutch market through its food truck. The brand won Foodtruck of the Year in ice cream category and Gold Award for service excellence at the NEDERLANDSE HORECA PRIJZEN 2020.

2020

Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Guapito Premium Beer™ was launched in 2020. It is the first Filipino beer brand crafted in the Netherlands. Ubeness™—the first Europe-made flavoring was also launched followed by Buco Pandanness, Langkaness and Mangoness.

2021

By 2021, Pamana World BV expanded its offerings to reach an even broader audience with the launch of Manong Sorbetero Filipino Ice Cream™, a new line inspired by traditional street vendors who have long been symbols of Filipino culture. Crafted to honor these iconic “sorbetes” carts and the beloved local flavors they offer, Manong Sorbetero brought a nostalgic yet premium twist to the market, capturing the essence of Filipino street ice cream.

2023

In 2023, in collaboration with Dea Enterprise, launched About Flavors—a line of 500ml flavoring bottles specifically designed to meet the needs of large-scale flavor users, including catering companies, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, bubble tea shops, bars, and other high-demand food and beverage establishments. These flavors are available online via their webshop and through Amazon and BOL.

2024

Staying true to its core value of innovation, Pamana World BV introduced Terifico ™, an exciting line of ready-to-use syrups crafted to bring the authentic taste of Southeast Asia to a variety of culinary creations. The debut flavor, Ube, is the first of its kind in Europe, offering the unique, vibrant essence of purple yam in a convenient format ideal for use in cakes, coffee, bubble tea, ice cream toppings, and more.
